Daily Prompt: Mad Libs | Befuzzling

Yesterday’s Daily Post asked for a little crowd participation:

Turn to your co-workers, kids, Facebook friends, family — anyone who’s accessible — and ask them to suggest an article, an adjective, and a noun. There’s your post title! Now write.

Today’s word is brought to us by Leon Sullen. In actuality Befuzzling isn’t a word, evident by the annoying, squiggly red line under it as I write this. I decided to Google it anyway and, lo and behold, Urban Dictionary had a definition:

To confuse ones mind with trivial events occurring around you.

Yup. Someone else in the word had randomly used the word. Better yet, someone decided to brave the interweb battlefield and throw up a definition. I feel myself honored to be in such company. Grammar pioneers bruh. Regardless of all this groundbreaking activity going on, I realize that things currently going on with me have, in actuality, been quite Befuzzling. I’ve been concerning myself too heavily with the motivations and mindsets of others, which has turned out to be quite trivial. From acquaintances, to love interests, to co-workers, I’ve realized that its been a completely meaningless effort to try to figure them out. Live and let live has to be the motto moving forward.

Shouts to LJ for his unintended moment of clarity.
